Has anyone looked into the neighbors around the area where Harlan was last seen? Sometimes people might notice details that seem out of place but don't realize their significance until later. I remember reading about someone who overheard an argument from a nearby house or saw an unfamiliar car parked in the area around the time a person went missing. Even small observations could be important and help fill in some gaps. Just a thought! Maybe a local canvass or revisiting witness statements could shed some light?

Did anyone investigate whether Harlan might have been planning a trip or meeting up with someone when he disappeared? I know he led a transient lifestyle, which might make things tricky, but maybe there's someone out there who knew what he was up to around that time. It just seems odd to me that someone who kept in regular touch with family wouldn't give a heads-up if he was moving on to another place.
