Has anyone else been following the James Baker case in St. Paul? I can't believe how much this is impacting his community. I read somewhere that the shooting happened in his cousin's apartment on Stryker Ave. It must be incredibly difficult for his family, especially since they were the ones closest to him. It’s tragic that they’re dealing with this loss where they should feel safest. I'm curious about why the authorities haven't caught the suspect yet, considering James and the shooter apparently knew each other. I wonder if there’s too much sensitivity around witnesses feeling scared to come forward. Just hoping for some justice for James and more peace for his family. This whole situation on the West Side really makes you grateful for each day, but it's terrifying that such violence is happening in our communities.
