Hey sleuthers, I was thinking about the Pilgrim State case, and something’s been bugging me. Why would someone choose to leave on foot right after receiving cash from a family member? It seems odd, right? Like, if you had some money, wouldn’t you arrange a ride or take public transportation? Anyone else find this unusual, or am I missing something here? Maybe the cash has more significance in the story... Thoughts?

Has anyone looked into the area between Pilgrim State and the local bus stations or train stops? It seems like a logical place to start if they were on foot and planning to travel elsewhere. I've been doing some searches online for any witness sightings or CCTV footage from that region around the time they disappeared, but I haven't found much information. There might be businesses or stations along the route with cameras that could have caught some footage. It would definitely help narrow down their movement or even determine if they met up with someone along the way. Just brainstorming here, but maybe an organized effort to canvas the area or distribute flyers at those places could jog someone's memory. Thoughts?
