I've been digging into the case of James Roger Tant from South Pittsburg, and something that's been sticking out to me is his connection to game fowl. Raising these birds was a big part of his life from what I've read, yet he left without arranging care for them, which seems pretty out of character. Neighbors mentioned his involvement might've been deeper, possibly linked with cockfighting. While it's illegal, it seems not uncommon in some areas. Could there be ties to that world that might explain his sudden disappearance? Maybe someone in those circles knows something. It's been years now, and authorities still don't seem to have worked out what happened back in 2012. Anyone else have thoughts on how his game fowl might play into this or on the local scene around it during that time? Wondering if this angle was ever fully explored or just overlooked.
Has anyone else looked into the part about James Tant's game fowl? I find it strange that someone so dedicated to their birds would just up and leave without making arrangements for their care. It's almost as if something unexpected happened that forced him to leave immediately. If Tant was involved in cockfighting, could that have somehow contributed to his disappearance? Not saying it's the reason, but you never know who might have been involved in those circles, and maybe he crossed the wrong person. Also, if his accounts haven't been touched, it seems unlikely he planned to disappear. Would love to hear others' thoughts, especially if anyone from his community has more insight into his activities and relationships.
I came across the case of James Roger Tant, and one detail has been nagging at me. The fact that he left his game fowl unattended is perplexing. From everything I've read, he seemed really committed to raising them. It's strange to think he'd just leave them behind without any arrangements, especially since people who raise animals like that typically have very specific routines and responsibilities. This makes me wonder if something unexpected or sudden happened to him. Also, was anyone ever charged or questioned related to the alleged cockfighting? It's often a community activity, so maybe someone he knew might have information that's been missed. Anyone else think this might be a lead worth looking into further?
