Has anyone else read about the smoke devices found at the scene? It's haunting to think about the sheer amount of planning that went into this tragic event. Setting aside my shock and horror at what happened, I can't help but imagine the confusion and fear the smoke must have created inside the sanctuary. My heart aches for Fletcher Merkel's family and for all those who were there that day. It’s just so difficult to comprehend how someone could be filled with so much hate. I'm hoping investigators can unearth more about Westman's path to that day; understanding might help prevent future tragedies. Sending love and strength to everyone affected by this horrific event.
