Just came across some more info in this case and it got me thinking about the timeline of events on that tragic day. The police mentioned that the first 911 call came in around 4:20 p.m., but I’m curious as to what might have transpired in the moments before that. Considering how quickly officers found Ricky Stem nearby, it seems like a very tight window.
I can’t help but feel for James’s family and friends having to piece together what happened and why. It must be unbelievably difficult not knowing what occurred in the moments leading up to such a senseless act. Also, how did Stem end up not far from the scene so quickly? It almost seems like an attempted getaway or some kind of distress?
My heart goes out to everyone involved, and I hope the community gatherings bring some comfort or answers. If anyone has any more details or thoughts on the timeline, I’d be interested to hear them.
