I'm really troubled by the discovery of Herbert Myers. From what I've pieced together, it sounds like he was in a bad spot emotionally, pretending to have won money when he actually had to borrow some. It’s sad to think about what he might have been going through that night. The fact that such a tragic end met him on a dimly lit sidewalk with his belongings scattered nearby just aches my heart. Was he targeted because someone overheard his false bravado, or was it something more random? The supposed weapon being found close to his body raises so many questions. It's hard to imagine no one saw or heard anything, even at that hour. My thoughts are with his family and friends. I hope someone comes forward with information soon.
