Has anyone else been following the details of the Chase Hunter Hoyt case? I can't stop thinking about the innocent child who was in the house during this tragedy. Being just 11 years old and having to witness such a traumatic event is unimaginable. I hope that they are receiving the support and counseling they undoubtedly need to process what happened.
It's so difficult not to think about how this child's life has changed forever. I'm praying for them and for all those who knew and loved Chase. While the legal process takes its course and we try to understand what led to this horrific incident, I hope the community can rally around Chase's family and this young witness. It's more important than ever to offer them our compassion and support.
I've been following the Port Huron case, and something that's been weighing on me is the presence of the 11-year-old child during the incident.
