I don't understand why this happened. Honestly I don't understand why any mass shootings happen. Why blame complete strangers for your breakup? I hope this shooter gets final judgement for what he did.
I’ve been following the Grand Blanc Township tragedy closely and I keep thinking about Pat Howard. It’s so hard to wrap my mind around how someone’s peaceful Sunday morning could end in such chaos. I didn’t know Pat personally, but from reading all the heartfelt tributes, it's clear he was deeply loved and cherished by many in the community. His commitment to his faith and his routine of attending Sunday services speaks volumes about him as a person.
The church, a place of refuge and comfort, turned into a scene of terror that day. It’s unimaginable, and my heart goes out to everyone who was there, especially Pat’s family and friends. It’s so important that as a community, we continue to support each other through this, honor those we’ve lost, and ensure that Pat’s memory and what he stood for aren’t lost in the horror of that day.
I’m hoping that as more details come out, we can find some understanding, if not peace, amidst this senseless violence. It’s times like these when communities need to come together, lean on one another, and remember the lives like Pat’s that brought light and kindness to the world. Sending all my love and thoughts to everyone affected by this tragic event.
