Has anyone looked into the currents at Long Beach the day Caleigh vanished? I’ve read enough about missing person cases along coastlines to know that ocean currents can behave in really unpredictable ways, especially around seawalls. If the beach had unusually strong currents or specific tidal conditions that day, it could help us understand how quickly someone could be swept away and where they might end up. I'm no expert, but with bits of clothing washing up later, maybe it could provide some clues? Would love to hear from anyone with knowledge about the geography or oceanography of this area! It's been so long, but every piece of information counts.
I’m thinking about why Caleigh Harrison’s case still haunts so many of us. Her disappearance on Long Beach feels like one of those moments frozen in time. What stands out to me is the weather and ocean conditions that day. I've read that the currents were particularly strong and unpredictable. Does anyone know if authorities ever analyzed the specific tidal patterns or weather reports from that exact day? I wonder if they detected anything unusual that might have contributed to the unfortunate circumstances. Even years later, it makes me think twice about how we perceive and understand natural elements when we go to the beach with young kids. The unpredictability of nature is both awe-inspiring and totally terrifying. Anyone else spends a lot of time researching ocean currents or weather anomalies related to particular areas?
