Has anyone looked into the weather conditions around Sonoyta, AZ, the day Juan Carlos went missing? I read somewhere that temperatures can soar unexpectedly, making it extremely risky for anyone without enough water or shade. It might be helpful to see what the forecast was like on that particular day to understand what kind of conditions they might have faced. Maybe local authorities or search volunteers could focus on routes with more shade or cooler pathways if the temperatures were indeed high. If anyone has contacts in the area, maybe they could share insights into the typical trails used in that region?

Wow, the situation with Juan Carlos is really worrying. I can’t imagine receiving a call like that from a loved one and then losing contact completely. Sonorita, AZ is such a harsh terrain, especially if they ran out of water. The fact that we don't know who the other two individuals are makes it even more puzzling. Does anyone know if the family has contacted local authorities in the area? It seems like they would need to act quickly, given the circumstances. Crossing the border is dangerous enough, but to be out there with no water and no idea where help might be? That's terrifying. I hope they’re able to get in touch with him soon or find out something about his whereabouts. If anyone has tips on who might be able to help out or if there are local groups in the area that might be able to assist, I'm sure the family would appreciate any information. It's important that we band together as a community to help bring them home safe.

I just came across the case of Juan Carlos on a missing persons thread and it's really sticking with me. From what I read, he was crossing through Sonorita, AZ, and was in touch with his family, saying he ran out of water and the two people he was with couldn't continue. He didn't mention who the others were, which seems really odd to me. Do you think he was trying to protect their identities, or might he have not known them well? It's distressing to think about what might have happened after he lost contact. Has there been any update on search efforts in that area, like aerial searches or anything? I hope they're doing everything they can.
