I've been thinking a lot about the role of 4-H and community events in Emma's life. It's so incredibly sad to think about how many people, especially her peers, were impacted by her passing. Growing up in a small community, those bonds run deep—showing livestock together, attending fairs, schools—it makes you family in so many ways. I can't help but wonder about the emotional weight this tragedy has placed on everyone involved in these activities. Emma was undoubtedly a big part of that scene, and her absence will be felt at every future fair and 4-H event. It's devastating to lose someone so young and full of promise, and I hope the community can find some solace and strength in each other during this difficult time. Emma and her family are in my thoughts.
