Hi everyone, I've been reading up on the Elizabeth Santos Lopez case, and something's been on my mind. When she reportedly fell ill and had those terrible convulsions, she was apparently left alone near a petroleum refinery and two ranches around Falfurrias. I'm just curious if anyone knows how remote or inaccessible this area is. Could she have reached a nearby settlement or sought help if she recovered enough? Or is it so isolated that she wouldn't have had any chance without assistance? I just wonder if the challenging terrain might have limited any possibilities for her to survive out there alone. Also, do we know if search and rescue operations involved checking any surveillance camera footage from the refinery or nearby ranches? Maybe someone from the area could shed some light on what it's like out there. Thoughts?
