Has anyone else heard about Sandra's case? I've been following it closely and I'm so baffled by the actions of the group she was with. I understand that crossing the border on foot is incredibly challenging, but leaving someone behind seems incredibly risky and heartless. The man who called Sandra's family said they'd only been walking for a day before she couldn't continue. Does anyone have more insight on what the usual protocol is in such situations? Is it common for people to get left behind if they can't keep up? I wonder if there's more to the story—like if everyone's safety was really at risk. Just trying to piece this together.
