I was just reading about the Burkin case, and something that really stood out to me was the detail about the multiple origins of the fire. It seems very calculated and suggests someone with a certain level of planning and intent. It's chilling to think that someone could stab Sharyn and Agnes and then go to such lengths to try to cover it up. Starting multiple fires just feels like something a very particular kind of person would do—someone who had thought about this beforehand. Given that this happened back in 1998, I'm hoping advancements in forensic technology might eventually shed some light on things like accelerants or even fingerprints that might not have been detectable back then. My heart really goes out to the family and friends who have been left without answers for so long. Does anyone know if they've ever brought in outside experts recently to look at the evidence again?

Does anyone else find it strange that the vehicle belonging to one of the victims was found so far from the crime scene? I've been following this case, and it always seemed like a huge clue that might help unravel what really happened. I wonder if whoever did this took the car as a means of escape or to throw off investigators. It's incredibly frustrating that despite this lead, the case is still unsolved. I really feel for Sharyn and Agnes’s family—having to live with such an unanswered loss. If anyone local remembers seeing something back in ‘98, even if it seemed small or insignificant, it might be worth reaching out to the authorities. Every piece of information could be crucial.
