I’ve been following the tragic case of Wayland Coe and his young brother, Izzy, and one thing that’s really sticking with me is the location of the shooting. It happened near a busy area with a food truck and several businesses. I can’t help but wonder how many people were around at that time or if any cameras from nearby stores caught anything. It’s devastating that their mother woke up thinking she’d take her kids to Kings Island, only to face this unimaginable tragedy instead. The police tape circling the parking lot must have been a grim scene for anyone passing by. I hope that as the investigation continues, any witnesses or evidence gathered from those businesses helps bring some clarity and justice to their family. It’s so important to speak up if you know or saw anything, no matter how small it might seem. My thoughts are with Wayland and Izzy’s family and friends—they deserve answers and some sense of peace.
