I've been following the Kevin Watson case closely, and something that stands out to me is the setting of the incident. It's deeply unsettling that this tragic event took place so close to a police station. You would think that a presence like that could be a deterrent or offer some semblance of security, but it really highlights how unpredictable and pervasive violence can be. Kevin was just trying to connect with his community through a live stream and had his life cut short right there in a public space. I can't imagine the fear and disbelief his family and friends must be feeling, especially since they were watching the whole thing unfold on social media. It's an awful reminder of how quickly life can change, and I hope someone who saw something will come forward to help bring some justice to Kevin and his family.
