The mysterious circumstances surrounding Roger Kelly's tragic murder continue to haunt both his family and the Fernley community. What's puzzling is the discovery of the murder weapon right there at the scene. This should have been a significant clue, yet it’s led investigators nowhere. I can't imagine the frustration and pain his family must feel, knowing that such a crucial piece of evidence has yet to bring justice. It's strange that no match has been made from the gun. Were the prints unusable, or is there more to this weapon's story? Did it belong to the perpetrator or was it planted to throw off the investigation? Such lingering questions! I hope that as technology advances, there might be hope for new insights into the fingerprints or DNA that might have been overlooked back then. It's been over two decades, and the thought of Kelly's family still waiting for answers is truly upsetting. Does anyone else have theories on potential developments from this evidence?
