I've been following the tragic case of Dante Givens and Deon Stewart since it made the news. What really strikes me is the terror they must have felt during the attack. It's horrifying to think about being suddenly ambushed while stopped at a traffic light—something so routine we never consider dangerous. My heart goes out to their families and friends dealing with such an unexpected loss. Those moments must weigh on them heavily, knowing their loved ones faced something so violent and senseless. I'm sure the arrest of Alex Dominque Russell has given some relief to the community, but I imagine there's still a lot of unanswered questions and pain. I hope the ongoing investigation brings clarity and justice for Dante and Deon, and, eventually, some peace for those who knew and loved them. It's crucial we keep discussing these tragedies to ensure their memories live on and pressure authorities to get to the bottom of it.
