Has anyone else been following the developments in the Terrance Bell case in Kansas City? I’ve been thinking a lot about the eyewitness testimony that played a big role in charging De’Onte Thompson. It sounds like this witness was able to identify him pretty clearly due to his unique appearance—missing a left eye and that drooping eyelid. That kind of distinct feature must have been crucial in the investigation. But I can't stop wondering how reliable that testimony might be in court. Eyewitness accounts can be so influential, yet they’re also prone to inaccuracies. My heart feels heavy for Terrance's loved ones having to wait for justice. It must be so hard to handle so many unknowns about what exactly happened that morning. Does anyone know if there will be any updates on the trial soon?
