I've been following Travon Freeman's case closely and wanted to bring attention to the community's powerful response to his loss. It's clear he was a vibrant young man with a bright future ahead, and I'm deeply touched by how his school and local community are honoring his memory. Instead of holding their homecoming dance, they've turned to a learning day at the Museum of Science and Industry. It’s a beautiful gesture that not only reflects their grief but also their determination to inspire change and promote peace. Wearing orange shows solidarity in the face of such a tragic event, and it’s a reminder of how communities can come together to support one another and demand a safer environment. It breaks my heart to think of the potential he had and the loss his family and friends must feel. It's moments like this that remind us all of the urgent need for change. Does anyone know if there have been any local initiatives started in his name? I'd love to support or spread the word.
