Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Benjamin Alexander Bernal, and one thing that's really been sticking with me is the sheer vulnerability of the situation he was in. To think that he was just at home, probably thinking he was safe and miles away from any chaos, makes it all the more upsetting. It really brings home the point that domestic situations can take such a deadly turn without warning. The woman who was with him must be going through a nightmare, having witnessed something so traumatic and from someone she probably knew far too well. It's chilling to imagine that kind of betrayal and violence. I hope she's getting the support she needs right now, and I can't help but feel for Bernal's family and loved ones. Having to process such a senseless act must be incredibly hard. It's also a reminder for all of us about the importance of recognizing the signs of domestic issues, because who knows if someone had stepped in earlier, maybe things could have been different.
