Hey everyone, I've been diving deep into the Stephania and Edward Andrews case, and one part that keeps puzzling me is the garage incident at the Sheraton-Chicago Hotel. Witnesses saw Edward hit a door as they left—seems out of character based on what we know about them. Does anyone think this could suggest some kind of confrontation or stress that maybe happened at the party? Could it have escalated to the point that Edward was acting so erratically? I wonder if there's any more context about what went down inside the hotel or if anyone remembers details about their interactions with others at the party. Any old articles or eyewitness accounts that someone knows of? It's these little pieces that often get overlooked but might hold some clues. Thoughts?
Does anyone else find it strange that the Andrews' car was never found? It's like it vanished into thin air. I know the Chicago River was searched multiple times, but could it be possible they ended up somewhere else entirely? Considering Edward was driving erratically and went the wrong way on Michigan Avenue, maybe they took a wrong turn that led them somewhere completely unexpected. It's been so long, surely some sign of their Oldsmobile would have turned up by now if it had gone into the river or a pond as some have suggested. Could there be old, lesser-known areas in the city or suburbs that haven't been thoroughly checked? Or perhaps the car was concealed elsewhere for reasons we haven't considered? It just boggles my mind how a whole car can disappear without a trace.
