I live in the neighborhood where this tragedy took place, and it’s just so surreal to think something like this could happen so close to home. I didn’t know Marquisha personally, but I’ve seen her around a few times, and she always had such a warm, friendly energy. I can’t imagine what her family and friends are going through right now.
I’ve been keeping up with the updates, hoping for some kind of resolution or arrest. It’s honestly so unsettling to know the case is still unsolved and that the person responsible hasn’t been caught. I really hope the detectives are getting closer to figuring out exactly what happened.
This community has definitely felt the impact of Marquisha's loss. There’s been a lot of talk about organizing some kind of vigil or memorial in her honor, which I think would be a beautiful way to bring everyone together and show support for her loved ones. If anyone has more information on this, please share!
Sending love to everyone affected by this senseless act of violence. Let's keep the conversation going and stay vigilant.
I've been following the case of Marquisha Williams and Tiwayla Spencer, and it's just so shocking to think of such violence tearing through the lives of two women in what should be the safety of their own home. What struck me the most was reading about the welfare check—thank goodness the employee took action, but I can't help imagining the dread that must have hit the officers finding them like that. My heart goes out to their families and friends who must be grappling with these unexpected horrors. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the detectives find some clear answers soon. It's unsettling to know there might be someone out there who did this without any regard for the life they destroyed. Does anyone know if there have been any neighborhood meetings or vigils held? I think community support could really help those affected by such a tragedy right now.
As someone who was born and raised in Phoenix, it’s truly overwhelming to see such a tragedy unfold in our community. My thoughts are with the families of Marquisha Williams and Tiwayla Spencer during this unimaginably difficult time. I keep thinking about how an apartment, typically a space of safety and comfort, became the scene of something so unimaginable.
I’ve been following this case closely, especially since it happened near such a populated area like 24th Street and McDowell Road. It’s unsettling to know that the perpetrator is still out there. I wonder if there were any surveillance cameras nearby that could provide any leads. It seems like a lot of the initial reports just talk about the timeline, but I hope the detectives can piece things together soon.
It’s crucial the community stays alert and supports one another. No family should have to endure this. Sending all the love and strength to those who knew Marquisha and Tiwayla. Hopefully, justice comes swiftly for both these women and their loved ones. ?❤️
I've been following the case of Marquisha Williams and Tiwayla Spencer, and one thing that has really stood out to me is how tightly-knit and supportive their community is showing themselves to be. In the aftermath of such a shocking and tragic event, the gathering of friends and neighbors to remember Marquisha speaks volumes about how cherished she was. It's truly inspiring to see people come together to honor her memory, sharing stories about her kindness and the positive impact she had on those around her.
Still, the lack of answers is incredibly frustrating. I can't help but feel for their family and friends as they wait for justice. The authorities say they are making progress, but it must be so hard for loved ones to balance hope with the raw pain of loss. I'm keeping them in my thoughts, hoping that some leads will soon bring closure.
