I am so glad his remains were found and there is some measure of closure for his family. It is so important to not hike alone. That is so risky. Even for experienenced hikers. At the very least have a gps tag on you if you choose to go that route.

Does anyone else find it odd that Dikran Knadjian’s camera and Omega Sea Master watch were never found? These items could’ve potentially been crucial in piecing together what happened to him. Given that he wanted to capture his visit with the camera, it seems strange that no photos, film, or even fragments turned up during searches. Considering the rugged terrain around Half Dome, it's plausible that any items he carried might have fallen out without being noticed. But for absolutely nothing to have surfaced over the years is peculiar. It makes me wonder if something more deliberate might've happened. I’ve read about a few organized search efforts back then, but I can’t help but think maybe more ground needed to be covered, or perhaps specialized equipment, like metal detectors, could’ve been useful in locating the watch. Thoughts?
Has anyone else noticed the peculiar detail about Dikran Knadjian's Pentax 35mm camera and Omega Sea Master wristwatch never being recovered? It got me thinking – these aren't exactly small or easy-to-miss items, especially if he had them out during his hike to capture the stunning views of Yosemite. Could they have been taken by someone else, either accidentally or deliberately? I know this might be a bit of a leap, but considering the number of people who pass through the park, it's strange that not a single piece of those items was found. Maybe someone else came across them and didn’t report it for whatever reason? Given how iconic Half Dome is, there must have been plenty of other hikers around that day. Just a thought that's been stuck in my mind since I read about his disappearance!
