Has anyone else found it strange that there were no eyewitnesses? I mean, in a small town like Janesville, you’d think someone might have seen John leaving or even noticed something unusual that day. It's puzzling that no one seemed to come forward with any details, even after all these years. Also, were there any major events happening in the area on March 20, 1973, that could have drawn attention away or possibly given John a reason to travel somewhere? Sometimes digging into the local happenings of the time can shed new light, but I haven’t come across anything concrete on that front yet. Curious if anyone else has theories or maybe local historical insights?
Hey everyone, just curious if anyone else has looked into John Patrick Deeny's case from 1973. I stumbled upon an old newspaper article that mentioned he had distinctive surgical scars on his thighs from a surgery when he was an infant. Does anyone know if such details are often crucial in identifying remains or if they could've been more significant back then? I've read that scars can sometimes offer a unique avenue for identification. In John's case, it's frustrating to think that might not have led to new developments. Just thought it was such a unique detail that, even now, could potentially spark some recognition or a memory for someone out there. Any thoughts or insights appreciated!
