I've been thinking a lot about Michael DeJuan Foster and the tragic way his life was cut short. I can only imagine the pain his family and friends are going through right now. What really grabbed my attention is the surveillance footage detail. It’s haunting to think there’s a recorded moment of such a cruel act, but at the same time, it’s incredible how pivotal this kind of evidence can be for law enforcement. In many cases, having something like video evidence can speed up the justice process, but I wonder how his loved ones feel about knowing that this moment is out there, recorded, possibly to be seen by others. That would be something incredibly hard to grapple with. Personally, in situations like this, I hope that justice is served swiftly for the sake of the victim's family. It's always so unsettling to hear about violent crimes happening in familiar places, and it just reminds me of how unpredictable life can be. Sending love to those affected by this tragedy.
