I came across this case and was deeply moved by the senselessness of it all—not only for Shaquon Lashay Moore and his family but also because a 14-year-old is now facing such severe charges. It's devastating to think about how drastically two families have been changed forever by this tragedy. I wonder what led up to the altercation and how it escalated so quickly. Kids today seem to have access to weapons too easily, and it's terrifying. I hope this prompts more conversations about youth violence and preventative measures. My heart goes out to everyone involved; I'm hoping for some sense of justice and peace for Shaquon's loved ones. Has there been any community response or efforts to address these issues since this happened?
