Has anyone else been following the details about Kendal Foy's murder? I find it incredibly tragic how young he was—just 20 years old—and taken so violently. I can't even begin to imagine what his family must be going through right now, especially with gun violence taking such a toll on our community. While the news about the arrest of Detrick Johnson Jr. offers some hope for justice, it's disheartening to think this might have been over a robbery. The location and time this happened—a busy strip at 2 a.m.—just makes me wonder about the circumstances that led to such a devastating act. Also, what about Detrick? He’s only 22 and possibly throwing his life away. It's a lose-lose for everyone involved. I'm hoping that further investigation reveals more and helps bring some closure, not just to Kendal's family but to everyone affected by this senseless act. Sending love and strength to his loved ones. This has got to stop.
