Hi everyone,
I've been reading through the details of Paul Stitt's case, and I can't help but think about the courage and vulnerability it must've taken for him to work those late shifts, despite his apprehensions. It's devastating to consider that he voiced his concerns and they ultimately went unheard. I wonder if the store had any security measures in place, like cameras or silent alarms. Those could’ve potentially deterred the robbers or at least helped law enforcement in tracking them down more effectively. It's such a tragic loss for his family and community, especially with the potential of his vibrant life cut short. Does anyone know if there’s been any further advancement on using technology in cases like this to assist in preventing or solving them? Keeping Paul and his loved ones in my thoughts.
I can’t stop thinking about the impact Paul Stitt’s murder must have had on those he worked with at the Liquor Outlet. I read that he had only been there for about eight months before the tragedy. Imagine going to your job every day, laughing and sharing stories, only to have something so horrific happen to one of your coworkers. It’s one thing to hear about crimes like this on the news, but for his colleagues, this was personal. They must have felt so helpless and shaken.
I wonder how many recognized his concerns for safety and what kind of discussions took place after the tragic event. It’s unsettling to know he feared for his safety and still continued to head into work. It’s a reminder that every workplace needs to have proper security measures, especially during late shifts. My thoughts are with his friends and family, and also those at the Liquor Outlet who are dealing with the aftereffects of losing someone in such a violent manner.
