Hey everyone, I’ve been digging into Diane Sue Gilchrist’s case lately, and something that struck me was how little is known about the van she was last seen entering. Does anyone have more details on it? I mean, if it’s true that she got into a van, surely someone else might have seen it too? There must've been something distinctive about it, right? It was the '70s, so vans were popular, but every detail could help. Maybe someone remembered the model or color? It’s frustrating how this van seems to just vanish as well. It might be a long shot, but if anyone here is from the Vancouver area or knows old-timers who might remember something from back then, it could be worth asking around. Every little bit helps. Thoughts?

I came across something interesting while diving into the disappearance of Diane Sue Gilchrist. Does anyone know if there have been any updates on whether they've re-investigated some of the common hangout spots for teens back in the 70s? It seems like there were a few areas in Vancouver, WA, where kids from Shumway Junior High (and other schools) used to gather after school. Given that Diane didn't have a history of running away, I wonder if focusing more on those areas could uncover something new. Since Warren Forrest is a key person of interest but without direct evidence, I feel there might still be some overlooked leads from local tips that could potentially open new directions for the case. Just thinking out loud and hoping there’s something detectives might have missed. If anyone has more info or theories, I'd love to hear them!

I recently went down a rabbit hole looking into the case of Diane Sue Gilchrist. One thing that really struck me was the van she was last seen getting into. Back in the 70s, it seems like so many stories of disappearances involve a mysterious van. I'm wondering if anyone has ever looked into the van itself more closely. Did they manage to find any descriptions beyond just "a van"? Color, make, model? It seems odd that something as distinctive as a van wouldn't have had more eyes on it, especially in a place like Vancouver, Washington. And if witnesses saw something, why wasn't more information recorded? My heart goes out to Diane’s family, who have been waiting so long for answers. I’d love to hear others' thoughts on the van and whether this fits into patterns from the other cases associated with Warren Forrest.
