I’ve been thinking a lot about the brave 3-year-old survivor, Tabitha Gee. It's incredibly difficult to wrap my head around how the youngest in the house survived such a horrific event. The emotional and psychological trauma she must have endured is unimaginable. I hope she's surrounded by love and support as she grows up. Reading through different posts here about the incident just makes me think more about her future and how she’ll make sense of it all when she looks back. Blessings to the friends and family involved, especially those looking after Tabitha now. Her resilience is nothing short of remarkable.
Hi everyone,
I’ve been revisiting the details of the Beason tragedy, and something that really stands out is the incredible bravery of the first responders who arrived on the scene. Knowing that they walked into such a horrific situation, especially in a small, tight-knit community like Beason, must have been unimaginably difficult. The emotional toll on them, having to provide support and then carry out their duties, is something that often goes unrecognized. These individuals played a crucial role in documenting the scene, caring for the surviving family member, little Tabitha, and managing what I can only imagine were overwhelming emotions themselves. They deserve immense respect for their professionalism and compassion in those initial, chaotic moments. My heart goes out to them along with the victims and their families. It's a haunting reminder of how certain jobs require not just skill, but incredible emotional resilience.
Thinking of all involved,
