I've been reading about the Deltona massacre, and it's just hard to wrap my mind around the senseless cruelty of it all. I can't stop thinking about Michelle Ann Nathan and how her promise was cut short at just 19. I've seen posts about how strong and passionate she was about her job as a manager at Burger King. It's clear she had a bright future ahead of her. It must have been devastating for her friends and family to learn about her fate in such a brutal crime. How do you even begin to process that kind of loss? My heart goes out to them. It makes me reflect on how fragile life is and valuing precious moments with loved ones. I hope that over time, her loved ones found even a small measure of peace. Michelle and the other victims certainly deserved better.
