I was reading up on Nahida Khatib's case, and something that caught my eye was how involved the local community was back in 1976. It's interesting to see how quickly people in Wauwatosa rallied together to search for her. Apparently, there were community-organized search parties going out almost immediately after Nahida was reported missing. It must have been a tight-knit community to have that level of coordination and support — not something you see every day. Still, with all those efforts, it’s shocking how they couldn’t find a trace of her. Anyone here have more details on how those early days of the search went? Or maybe someone’s heard stories passed down in the community?
