Does anyone else feel a chill thinking about how close-knit communities like those in the Hudson Valley were deeply affected by Nathaniel White's actions? I can't even imagine the fear and anxiety the locals must have felt during those terrifying months. Brenda and Angelina were just out for a night of fun, like any of us would be, and it ended in such tragedy. It’s haunting to think that a place where people went to socialize and enjoy themselves—a bar like the Blue Note Tavern—ended up being the last place they were seen alive. What gets me too is how the initial police response seemed so limited. It’s upsetting to think that their families had to do so much of the legwork themselves initially. I wonder how different things might have been if there had been a more robust response from the start. It’s one of those cases that really makes you question policies and the support systems in place for families during such distressing times. Sending all my thoughts to the families who had to endure this nightmare.
