Has anyone else looked into the timing of those threatening calls Randy's family got during Christmas of 1976? It's odd to me that someone would demand money and then not show up to collect it. Could it have been a scare tactic, or maybe the goal wasn't actually about the $500? Given Randy's alleged connection to a marijuana deal, could this incident have been meant as a warning or intimidation, showing that someone could reach out and touch his family whenever they wanted? It makes me wonder if they found something bigger than just a deal gone wrong. Often, these cases have layers we don't see at first, and the timing of those calls just doesn't sit right with me. What do others think about this aspect?
Hey everyone,
I've been digging into Randy Brosius's case and something that's been bothering me is the whole deal with his health condition. As an insulin-dependent diabetic, Randy was without his insulin when he vanished. Isn’t that a huge red flag? I mean, if you're leaving somewhere with two people and you know you need insulin to survive, wouldn't you make sure you have it with you? Or could it be possible that someone else was holding onto it for him? It's such a crucial point that I feel might have been overlooked or maybe not emphasized enough.
Also, the fact that he was seen leaving with Lenker and Green but was never found, while those two were located in Florida later, just raises so many questions for me. Did they know about his diabetes? And if they did, what does that say about their involvement or knowledge of what might have happened? There's so much mystery around their entire interaction.
Would love to hear your thoughts!
I recently came across Randy Brosius's case, and something that keeps bothering me is the mysterious phone calls his family received before his disappearance. The timing and the demand for $500 seem so suspicious, especially when considering the alleged marijuana deal. Does anyone else find it odd that the caller never showed up to collect the money? It feels like such a crucial lead that could point to other people involved or at least give more context to Randy's situation at the time. Also, were the calls traced or investigated further? In those days, tracking calls was way more challenging, but I'd love to know if there were any details about who might have been behind them. It seems like a potential clue that's gone cold but could mean something significant in the broader picture of Randy's disappearance. Any thoughts?
