Wow, I just stumbled across this case while researching true crime in Maryland, and it gave me chills. Has anyone else noticed how the murder of Lisa Kathleen Haenel seems particularly impulsive compared to Watson's other crimes? It's like this horrific act stands out because it wasn't driven by the same motives as his other killings. I can’t even begin to imagine the shock and sorrow her family went through, especially since she was such a bright, talented young girl with a promising future ahead. It's a small relief that they eventually found her killer, but the tragedy of losing a child in such a violent manner never truly fades. Her case reminds me of how important it is to keep pushing for justice, especially in these cold cases. Sending all my thoughts to her family and those who knew her. Anyone else have any insights or thoughts on how Watson's psychological profile might explain this deviation in his crimes?
