Has anyone else really thought about the role Ellen's roommate played in all of this? It's so chilling to think that she had a gut feeling about Wardrip and even warned Ellen. It must have been such a heavy burden to carry that intuition around, only to find out later how tragically right she was. I can't imagine the "what ifs" that must linger for her and everyone else who knew Ellen. It also makes me wonder how often these instincts or casual warnings go unheeded in similar situations. Sharing those uncomfortable feelings can be crucial, but it's just heartbreaking that it wasn't enough this time. Just a sobering reminder to trust your gut when something or someone feels off. Sending thoughts to Ellen's family and friends and all those who were impacted by Wardrip's horrific crimes.
