I can't stop thinking about the family of Armando Enrique Torres—what an unimaginable loss. Just 18 years old and seeing his life cut so tragically short while simply doing his job is beyond upsetting. Being a security guard at such a young age and having dreams for the future, Armando's life had so much potential. It's hard to fathom the sense of devastation his family must have felt, especially knowing how random and senseless the attack was. The mental health aspect of this case is striking, but it doesn't ease the pain and anger over losing someone so young in such a violent manner. I hope his family found some measure of peace and strength in their memories of him, and that they remain supported by those around them. My thoughts are with them—it must have been incredibly hard to deal with the aftermath of such violence.
