Has anyone else been struck by the role that businesses in high crime areas play in these tragic cases? I've been thinking a lot about how Paula Vance was found behind a business in downtown LA. These locations, with their secluded alleyways and dim lighting, can unfortunately be magnets for terrible crimes. It makes me wonder if more could be done to improve safety measures, like better lighting or more comprehensive security systems. It’s tough knowing that businesses might inadvertently contribute to the risk in their neighborhoods. Such places should feel safe for everyone. Sending thoughts to Paula's family—hoping they have found some semblance of peace knowing justice was eventually served.
