I keep thinking about those four teenage girls who witnessed Diane's abduction. It must have been unbelievably terrifying and shocking for them to see something so violent happen right in front of their eyes. Not only did they act quickly by contacting the police, which was so courageous, but they also had to carry the weight of knowing they witnessed the last moments Diane was seen alive. I can't imagine the kind of burden that would be, especially at such a young age. It's so important to recognize how deeply the ripples of such a tragic event extend far beyond just the immediate family and friends, impacting the lives of unexpected witnesses too. My heart goes out to all who were affected, and I hope those girls received the support they needed following this traumatic experience.
