She was only 22 and faced such terror, yet she stood up for her family and even the family dog. It's haunting to think about her final moments and the bravery it took to speak out under those circumstances. Her actions, though ultimately tragic, were a testament to her character. My heart goes out to Anthony Boand, who had to come across the unimaginable scene—all of these years later, I can't fathom how deeply it must have affected him. It's a stark reminder of how one evening can change lives forever, and it compels us to cherish and protect those we love even more.
