Did anyone else notice that there were some unconfirmed sightings of Harold reported in the weeks following his disappearance? I came across a newspaper clipping from back when he first went missing that mentioned a couple of tips called in from people claiming to have seen a man fitting his description in various locations along the route to Oklahoma City. It's frustrating that nothing concrete came from these reports, but it makes me wonder if Harold might have been traveling under the radar or perhaps even using a different name. If anyone has access to any old police reports or other media from that time, it would be interesting to see if there were more details about these sightings that never made it into the wider news coverage. Maybe there's something there that could spark a new lead in his case.
