I’ve been following the Joel Krueger case for a while, and the latest developments really got me thinking. It's so tragic how Joel and his family had to deal with this mystery for all these years. Can you imagine living with that kind of uncertainty? It's somewhat relieving to hear that investigators finally got answers after all this time, but it must be so bittersweet for his loved ones. I was reading about Edward A. Surratt’s confessions, and it’s chilling to think that a truck driver could be responsible for so many horrendous crimes across Pennsylvania. It does seem like justice in some form has been served, given his life sentences, but I can’t help but wonder how the DAs decided not to pursue further legal steps. Do you all think that was the right call, given the circumstances? Respecting the families' peace seems vital, but some might feel more is needed. Eager to hear what you all think.
