Does anyone else find it incredibly chilling how someone like Gerald Stanley was able to manipulate the system for so long? I've been reading more about Diana Lynn Ramel, and it's just so tragic that her family still doesn't have answers. Even with his confession, it seems like they're no closer to finding her. The fact that he offered to help locate her remains after all these years, only to be uncooperative, is infuriating. I can't imagine the torment her loved ones must feel. It's such a vast area to search, and without his genuine assistance, it seems like they're constantly hitting dead ends. My heart really goes out to the investigators trying to piece together this puzzle. Does anyone know if the terrain in Tehama County would add significant difficulty to the search efforts? I feel for her family—decades without knowing is just so cruel.
