Has anyone else come across the part of Ty Hagen's story about his involvement in the local drug scene before he vanished? I find it quite puzzling. It makes me wonder if someone from that circle might have some information they're keeping secret due to fear of repercussions or just not wanting to get involved. Given the time that's passed, I hope someone might feel safer coming forward now. I also wonder if his injuries point to any altercation that might have happened just before his disappearance. Anyone local to Marysville or familiar with the late '70s scene there have any insights on this?
I was doing some digging into Titanic "Ty" Magnussen Hagen's case, and something caught my attention regarding those unconfirmed sightings in various states. It seems a bit odd that his potential sightings spanned such a vast area—Needles, CA; Riviera, AZ; and Twin Bridges, MT. Does anyone else think it could be possible he was trying to stay off the radar and maybe had assistance from someone in the know about the local drug scene? Networks back then were often tight-knit, and if he was involved in those circles, it's plausible he might have had contacts willing to help. Anyone here with knowledge of how drug-related disappearances were typically handled in those regions back in the late '70s? Would love to hear your thoughts.
