Hello everyone,

I recently stumbled across the Thomas Michaud case and something caught my attention. Has anyone else noticed the peculiar way in which his car was discovered? From what I gather, it was found abandoned not too far from the intersection of East Orchard Road and South Colorado Boulevard. Did he leave it there intentionally, or could he have met with foul play in that area? It makes me wonder if there were any strange events or sightings reported near there around that August day in 1979. If anyone is local or has access to old newspaper archives, it might be worth investigating further to see if any clues were overlooked. It's always the smallest details that can unravel these mysteries.

Thoughts?
Wow, the Thomas Michaud case really has a lot of layers to it, doesn't it? I've been reading different articles and watching some old news clips, and something that stands out to me is the location—Centennial, Colorado. From what I've gathered, it wasn't as built up back in 1979 as it is now. The area used to be pretty rural, with lots of open spaces.
Has anyone looked into whether there were any big construction projects happening around that time? I wonder if any sites could have been disturbed during ongoing development. I know it's a long shot, but sometimes old cases get new leads when there's land development. Just seems to me that a missing person case in such a sparsely populated area could open up specific challenges for an investigation. Anyone with local knowledge on how the scene looked back then?
