I’ve been digging into the history of the Mount Charleston area, and it’s interesting just how many unsolved cases involve this desert stretch. It makes me think about Gabriel Vincent and the other folks linked to David Dale Morgan. Many reported hearing gunshots at the storage facility when Vincent disappeared, which gives me the heebie-jeebies. I imagine it was the Wild West out there during those times. What boggles my mind is how Vincent's case, and others tied to Morgan, slipped through the cracks for decades before anything substantial happened. The desert has secrets all of its own, but it seems like a lot of people were willing to keep Morgan’s actions a secret too. Anyway, the stories surrounding Morgan remind me of other notorious figures who thought they could get away with anything just because they had money or influence. I'm curious if anyone here might have thoughts on what it takes for cases like these to finally get traction after years in limbo. Can those who’ve studied or had similar cases shed light on that?
