Has anyone else been following the details about Ruth Martin's Pontiac Catalina? The fact that her car ended up with a flat tire in the Holiday Inn parking lot in Bloomington really caught my attention. I mean, she had just gotten the tire fixed the day before she vanished, so how did it end up flat again? It seems like whoever was driving the car was in a rush or maybe intentionally tried to make it look abandoned. And what's with the significant amount of blood on the trunk mat? It’s hard not to feel for Ruth’s family, not knowing what happened to her during those last moments. Every little detail seems to add another layer to this unsolved puzzle. I wonder if any further examination of the car or its route might yield more clues. It's a shame that even with Smrekar's confession, so many questions remain unanswered. My thoughts are with the Martin family; I can’t imagine the pain they've endured over the years.
