Has anyone looked into the possibility of Myron Goodrich being involved in some sort of financial trouble around the time he vanished? I know he was staying at Talbot House, which indicates he might have been going through some rough patches. It's purely speculative, but perhaps he owed someone money or got mixed up in something shady? Did any of the residents or staff at Talbot House notice anything unusual about his behavior or demeanor before he got on that LIRR train? Sometimes when people go missing, there are subtle hints leading up to it that only make sense in hindsight. If anyone has access to that type of information, it might be worth exploring further.

Hey everyone, I came across the case of Myron Goodrich, and something really caught my attention. He went missing on August 8, 1980, after leaving the Talbot House in Bohemia, NY. It’s odd to me that there seems to be no information about what he was wearing or carrying at the time. Was his family aware of any plans he might have had or if he took anything significant with him? Also, was the train ride to NYC something he did regularly? I’m wondering if he might have had some kind of routine. If anyone has insight into typical activities at Talbot House or the kinds of support and monitoring they provided around that time, it might help paint a clearer picture of his state of mind or intentions when he got on that train.
